The successful implementation of EU projects. Major customers
After the implementation of the project „Lodvila“, UAB shall offer the production of brand new generation documents with non-absorbent surface, in accordance with Lithuanian legislation and EU directives.
Thanks to EU assistance, the company shall enhance the sector of its specialization - the service of safe documents production. Also the company shall introduce a new generation service - the production of documents with non-absorbent surface. Such type of mandatory documents currently are: documentary evidence of identity (identity card), documents conferring rights (driver‘s license), documents certifying the status (the certificate of public servant), bank instruments (payment cards, credit cards), identification cards (personal identification card used in digital tachographs, access control systems).
In addition to the introduction of new service there is provided a modernization of the production of safe documents. During this phase new equipment will be installed providing safe documents with new functions and features.
One of the aims of EU assistance is to increase the efficiency of the company, to expand the range of services and improve the quality of production. Improvement of productivity and efficiency is particularly important aspects due to the fact that more than 58 perc. of the company’s workers are disabled. „Lodvila“, UAB is planning to employ 9 new workers after the implementation of the project and thus contribute to the reduction of unemployment in Lithuania.
We have signed the assistance of EU funds for two „Lodvila“, UAB export promotion projects under the measure „New Possibilities“ in 2009.
