Information for public organizations
We were the first company in the country which has begun the employment program for the disabled people with mental disability. We tooled up a production unit in Strėvininkai residential care home for disabled people in 2008. 16 people with mental disability were employed to work as homeworkers. They carry out simple technological procedures. Currently 58% of „Lodvila“ workers are disabled.
In 2005 the company was conferred by a status on social enterprise and social enterprise of disabled. This status allows the contracting authority to carry out the simplified purchase by direct agreement.
Therefore, under the Law on Public Procurement, all budgetary institutions and organizations are allowed to purchase our printing services by simplified procurement process. The law simplifies the purchase procedures in case of purchasing from social enterprises (e. g., no notice of public tender for goods, services or works; possibility to reserve the purchase).
The cooperation with our company ensures that any institution carries out the requirements of the law and works with the supplier of printing services who produces the production corresponding to all the customer‘s needs for an attractive price. Moreover, the simplified procurement process saves time, money and efforts as well as contributes to the integration of disabled people into market and reduces their social exclusion.
We cooperate with Office of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, State Tax Inspectorate, The Customs Department, Lithuanian Metrology Inspectorate, State Patient’s Fund, commercial banks, insurance companies and other institutions.
