We have been exporting our printing products to foreign countries since 1999. Transportation and lottery tickets, plastic cards and passports account for the largest part of our exports. Security and commercial printing products have been supplied to Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Norway, Sweden, England and other foreign markets.
In 2009, the company concluded a two-year contract with the Norwegian Maritime Directorate for the printing of new Norwegian seafarer’s certificates. This is the first time in history that a Western European state entrusted the printing of its citizens’ personal ID documents to a Lithuanian company. In the same year, we received an order to print the Estonian captain’s cards. The fact that the production of such important documents has been entrusted to us is not just an evaluation of the company, it is important testament to Lithuania as a whole. It represents the recognition of the country’s technological capacity and its reliability as an international partner, showing that we can offer competitive prices, well managed processes, high quality, a wide range of products, and timely delivery.
Having a vast production potential, we are constantly seeking new opportunities and reliable business partners in foreign markets. Currently, customers from Central Asia and the Caucasus (Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Armenia) have shown a keen interest in our services.
In 2009, our exports totalled EUR 1,193,234, which was 29 % more than in 2008.
